1. About Rooted in Reading
Rooted in Reading provides educational consultancy and guidance to parents and carers to support children's reading development.
Services include (but are not limited to):
Reading Roadmap consultations
Personalised reading reports
Educational advice
Reading resources
Digital downloads
Rooted in Reading does not provide tutoring, educational psychology assessments or diagnostic assessments unless explicitly stated.
2. Booking Appointments
Appointments can be booked through the website or via direct contact.
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Appointments may be rescheduled free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the appointment will receive a full refund.
Appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment are non-refundable.
Missed appointments are non-refundable.
Exceptional circumstances, such as illness or emergencies, will be considered on an individual basis.
4. Personalised Reading Roadmaps
Your Reading Roadmap is created using:
Information provided by parents/carers
Consultation discussions
Professional educational experience
The recommendations are personalised guidance and should not be considered a guarantee of specific outcomes.
Children progress at different rates and results will vary.
5. Parent Responsibility
Parents and carers remain responsible for:
Supporting their child's reading
Implementing recommendations
Supervising reading activities
Seeking further professional advice where appropriate
6. Educational Advice
Rooted in Reading provides educational guidance only.
Advice should not replace recommendations from:
Schools
Speech and Language Therapists
Educational Psychologists
Medical professionals
Other qualified specialists
If you have concerns regarding your child's health or development, you should seek appropriate professional advice.
7. Reports & Resources
All reports and resources are created specifically for the purchasing family.
They are intended for personal use only.
They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold or shared without written permission.
